BILLINGS, MT (March 6, 2008) - Kampgrounds of America Inc. will again partner with the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) to sponsor the 2008 Cycle Trader AMA Grand Tour/KOA Along The Way Series.

BILLINGS, MT (March 6, 2008) - Kampgrounds of America Inc. will again partner with the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) to sponsor the 2008 Cycle Trader AMA Grand Tour/KOA Along The Way Series.

The tour series offers motorcycle riders the opportunity to compete in one or more season-long nationwide motorcycle "hunts" for themed locations. The Grand Tour can be completed at a rider's own pace. Riders score points for visiting specific places - usually documenting the visit with a photograph - and accumulate points to win nearly $30,000 in gear and motorcycle accessory prizes.

KOA will again be offering tour participants special discounts on camping fees at any of its more than 450 locations.

The AMA has already received more than twice as many applications for 2008 tour events as it did last year.

Tour events for 2008 include:
- Talk Like a Pirate Grand Tour presented by Carnival Cruise Lines and Magic Cruises: Riders will visit pirate-themed locations to collect points. Top points-earners will compete for prizes in several categories. All finishers have a chance to win a Carnival cruise courtesy of Magic Cruises.

- Moto Guzzi's Grand Tour of Italy in America: In this Grand Tour presented by the AMA and Moto Guzzi, riders earn points by visiting sites on a list of Italian-themed locations around the United States, as well as Moto Guzzi dealerships, rallies and other destinations. All finishers will have a chance to win a Moto Guzzi Norge 1200.

- Hall of Fame Grand Tour, presented by the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum: Riders will visit locations associated with the honorees in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and to win a trip to Pickerington, Ohio to visit the Museum.

- The BikeBandit.com AMA "World's Largest" Classic Grand Tour: Last presented in 2002, the World's Largest Grand Tour takes riders on the biggest scavenger hunt in the United States. Where is the world's largest teapot? What state is home to the largest ball of twine? Top points-earners will compete for valuable riding gear and accessories from the world's largest online motorcycle retailer, BikeBandit.com.

Riders participating in more than one 2008 Cycle Trader AMA Grand Tour can combine the points accumulated toward a grand prize. All four Grand Tours begin April 1 and end November 30. The cost for AMA members is $20 solo or $25 two-up per Grand Tour. The cost for riders who aren't AMA members is $35 solo or $50 two-up. Riders who enter three of the 2008 AMA Grand Tours will receive an entry into the fourth at no additional charge.
