Lending out your RV

I answered NEVER but thought there should be a choice for NO. I've only had my Class-C for 11 months. In that time no family member or friend has asked to borrow it. I've taken family and friends on some of my many trips, and even let them share the driving duties. I'd like to think that I could stand there and happily watch my motorhome drive down the road on a trip without me, but I'm not sure.

I have a 2007 Fleetwood, Excursion. It is our first motor coach. We bought it new in early 2007.
Whenever my loving and very responsible daughter and her, likewise, husband, (both in there 30's), asked to use our dream coach, my answer was always, (a few times), : "I really wish I could, but simply must say no!"
This morning my daughter brought the subject up again. I mentioned it was pretty dirty and I was planning on washing it soon. She said: Dad. If you let us use it to take our three children, (your grandchildren), on a camping trip. We will see that it gets washed and will return it with a full tank of gas, (70 gallons). My decision suddenly changed to: Well, Sweetie, you don't have to fill it. A half tank will be just fine...and don't forget to get the top of it really clean ! ;-). Actually, we have been unable to take our motor coach out for over 8 months. And we really do need to get it on the road, ( to keep it well lubricated, etc.). I just have decided it isn't worth much at all, just sitting out back under the shed. And considering the cost of it. It is just a shame to continue to tell my loving, responsible, children that they aren't trustworthy enough to use it...responsibly! Heck, I can't take with me and it was bought just to look at, but to enjoy NOW! I really do feel good about making this decision!...can't wait to see it all cleaned up again! ;>)
