RVing with Mark

RV Education 101®, the premier provider of educational videos, books and RV information for the RVing public, was founded over a decade ago by Mark Polk, who started in the RV industry as a teenaged apprentice technician. "I really enjoyed working around RVs and performing basic service on customers’ units”, Polk explained. “You could say I was bit by the RV bug early on.”
RV Education 101 quickly established themselves as THE go to resource for RVers. With hundreds of thousands of training and informational DVDs and books sold, along with his many TV appearances as the RV Savvy Guy, Mark Polk is recognized as THE authority for everything RV.

 "Gulf Coast RV Adventure." |

To encourage tourists to make the hurricane-stricken Gulf Coast their next vacation destination, RV Adventure Videos is producing a video called "Gulf Coast RV Adventure."
Producer John Holod has recently returned from filming some of the devastation that has taken place. "The damage is severe in some areas," says Holod," but don't forget, the Gulf Coast stretches 1,700 miles from South Florida to the Texas/Mexico border. There are plenty of great vacation spots to visit that have not be impacted by the hurricanes."
"The story of rebuilding the hard hit areas will be a great one," says Holod. "Most of us sat in stunned silence as we watched the devastation that had taken place along the gulf this fall. We all wanted to do something to help. Well, there is something people can do to help, especially if they're RVers. They can "Go to the Gulf!"
"Even if there are no hotels open or a lack of electricity you can still take a trip to this beautiful area in an RV," added Holod." The people and businesses desperately need tourist dollars. If RVers would like to take it one step further they can volunteer to help with the cleanup or cook meals for those that have lost their homes and are still living in shelters." The video will be released late next year. John Holod and Jodie Ginter will be heading to New Orleans during Christmas to help with the rebuilding and shoot footage for the new video.
We are now looking for sponsors for the project. If you are interested please call (877) 783-7227 or contact www.rvadventurevideos.com

RV Education 101 is a North Carolina based Company that produces educational videos on how to use and maintain your RV. Mark Polk, the owner, started in the RV industry as an apprentice technician in the early 1970's. After retiring as a CW3 from the military (where Polk was an automotive maintenance technician, and was in charge of some very large maintenance operations throughout his career) in 1996, he got back into the industry he had a passion for. Polk has an extensive background in RV sales, service and management. He felt so strongly about educating the consumer that he left his position as an RV Sales Manager in 2000 to devote himself full time to his company. Mark’s program includes instructional videos and other materials to make your RVing lifestyle even easier. Mark also provides the RV Savvy segments for the RVTV program and can be seen on the Outdoor Channel. You can order Mark's complete line of RV Education 101 material from www.rveducation101.com
